Warehouse Workers Confront Walmart Executive

In the face of corruption, more than a hundred dead in a massive factory fire in Bangladesh, serious problems in its domestic warehouses and strikes by its own workers, Walmart has been the subject of intense scrutiny.

Low-wage workers who labor in the shadows moving Walmart merchandise in Walmart-contracted warehouses confronted Scot Rank, the CEO of Walmart de Mexico, at a May 13 event at the UCLA Anderson School of Business. Rank responded glibly and he did not meet with workers.
